Dear St. John Catholic School Community,
I am excited and honored to serve you as principal of St. John Catholic School. I am blessed to have the opportunity to work with Father Kevin and to become a part of the St. John School and Parish community. I have served as a public and parochial elementary and middle school teacher, math coordinator, K-12 principal, adjunct professor of reading at Ave Maria University, STREAM Coordinator and Associate Superintendent for Curriculum and Accreditation for the Diocese of Venice (Florida). However, I consider my most important job to be collaborating with the SJS faculty and staff to provide your children with the finest Catholic education.
On a personal note, my husband and I recently relocated to Panama City from south Florida due to his transferred within the Florida Highway Patrol. We have two grown daughters who have had a busy summer. One graduated from Birmingham Southern College and will be teaching first grade in a Catholic school in Georgia, and our oldest married a Marine awaiting orders.
The faculty and staff are looking forward to an exciting 2017-18 school year. They have been preparing their classrooms and participating in training. I am so impressed with their dedication to their students and their professionalism. We have some new team members joining us, as well as some members with new assignments.
Please join me in welcoming:

Mrs. Bridget Zicarel/i, 4th Grade Teacher

Mrs. Zicarelli joins us from the Diocese of Atlanta where she taught at the Immaculate Heart of Mary for the 17 years.
