St. John School Fall Festival, Trunk-or-Treat and Chili-Cook-off
Come and celebrate the Fall with a variety of games, rides, activities and fun! This year’s Festival will be enhanced with a Hayride sponsored by the eighth grade families. In addition, there will be classroom-sponsored games, cake walk,and karaoke. The Chili Cook-off will be back, as well as, decorated trunks with treats. Our SJS Dads will have a chance to enjoy a display of classic cars this year.
There will be trophies for best costume, most creative, best decorated car trunk and the most popular Chili. Come and join the fun with your school family on Friday, 10/27.
There is still time to register your “trunk”, or sign-up for the Chili Cook-off.
- Donations are still needed for the cake-walk.
Wednesday, October 25th, will be individual and school picture day. Proofs and purchases may all be done online through the Life Touch Photography Link. Students should wear their Wednesday Chapel Dress, as we will be celebrating Mass before pictures.
Kindergarten Students Learned about Adoration
Students in Kindergarten learned about Adoration and created a monstrance in religious education class with Miss Charlotte and Ms. Haraughty. Adoration is a time of prayer and devotion to Jesus Christ, who is present in Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity, in the consecrated host.
STREAM Activities in First Grade
First grade learned about circuits while creating their own boards which powered spinners and lights.
Red Ribbon Week Activities
On 10/26, middle school students will listen to a presentation about choosing a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
Elementary students will be learning about Respect, Kindness, Making Good Choices, Compassion and Empathy.
Dress Out Days
10/30 Students may wear something red with jeans

10/31 Career Day -“Dress Up As Your Future Career!”
