St. John Catholic Academy is committed to working with all families who desire a Catholic education for their child(ren).  While Step Up Scholarships, available to all families, covers the majority of tuition, there is a gap between the cost to educate and what the State provides.  As such, the first step to applying for our available Grants and Aid is to complete the FACTS Grant and Aid application online.  The 26-27 Grant application is now open.  You will need your 2025 tax returns to complete the process, but be advised that no one from the Academy sees your personal information.  FACTS objectively calculates the ability to pay and need for support, which then allows us to assign appropriate aid. If you desire a Catholic education for your child, but are concerned about Tuition and Fees, please submit your application, and our finance manager will work with your family.  Applications for 26-27 will be evaluated on a rolling basis as soon as they are received by the school.  Please reach out to sjcafinance@sjseagles.org with any specific questions.

Important information and steps to take when applying:

  • Read all requirements for eligibility before applying
  • Upload all required documents, otherwise applications are not considered complete
  • Be aware of the deadlines
  • Apply for ALL grants and scholarships that you are eligible to receive
  • Ask administration for assistance in completing applications for optimal results

        • Facts Financial Aid Application:  If you feel as though your Family will qualify, the Diocese requires each Family first to complete the FACTS Financial Aid application and provide all required documentation.  This will ensure just and equitable consideration is given to all requests.   FACTS will complete an independent analysis to determine their recommendation for the amount of assistance needed by each family.
        • Parish Participation Grant Form:  Please complete and submit the form to SJCAfinance@sjseagles.org.
        • Once your application is processed, the form will be submitted to your Pastor to determine the amount of parish subsidy.
