Walkathon is finally here!
SJCA will host its annual Walkathon tomorrow, November 22nd, 2024. PK4 through 9th Grade students will walk a marked course around the P.E. field in order to raise funds for our academy. The classroom who raises the most funds will win a pizza party!
Below is information for your student to be prepared for tomorrow’s event:
- Students should wear their uniform bottoms, spirit shirt, tennis shoes, and warm clothes. Also, students will need to have their hat and water bottle at the event.
- Students will be given a Walkathon T-Shirt tomorrow and teachers or volunteers will cross off laps on the back of the shirt to keep track of laps completed. (last year some shirts were forgotten and there was sadness for those students so we will distribute them directly tomorrow).
- The schedule for Walkathon is:
- 8:30 AM-9:30 AM: PK4 and Kindergarten
- 12:00 PM-1:00 PM: 1st through 5th Grades
- 1:00 PM-2:00 PM: Middle School
Thank you to all the families and friends who have already submitted pledges! Please remember that students can continue to raise funds throughout the Thanksgiving break. If you need a new pledge form, please reply to this email or click here to donate online and indicate which student you are donating on behalf of: Make My Walkathon Donation Remaining pledge funds will be due by Friday, December 6, 2024 by the end of the day.
