Annual Harvest Fest – All Saints Fest: Nov. 1st

Dear Parents and Families,

We’re excited to share this year’s plans for our Annual Fall Harvest Festival—All Saints Fest! This year, we’re making a few enhancements to allow all families and faculty alike to fellowship with one another with minimal stress and fewer requests for assistance/donations.  We have partnered with St. John Church to combine and share resources.  Our event will cooperate with the Church’s events throughout the weekend. We have secured lighting so that after the 5:30 pm Mass, the Church potluck can happen while the children enjoy the playground safely—many thanks to SunBelt Rentals for donating the lighting. There will be a large tent with tables and chairs for fellowship and dinner along with three bounce houses for different ages/sizes. Tickets for food and the bounce houses are modestly priced to allow all families to participate with a significant or burdensome cost.  As always, if the tickets are prohibitive for your family please email me directly at sistergrace@saintjohnpc.org and they will be provided for your family confidentially.  We are so grateful for our community partners.

If every community member volunteers 30-45 minutes of their time at some point in the evening, everyone will be able to both participate and contribute to the children’s festival joy.  We will need safety monitors for the bounce houses, food sales, and assistance on the field for games.  We have reduced expectations for ‘booths’ as we have had in the past but we are open and able to welcome any parent/classroom who would like to have a booth or game as a part of the evening.  Having listened to your feedback from years past, we are attempting to continue the community festival while reducing both the financial burden and stress for everyone involved. Any parent who has an idea, or desire for other activities/offerings is very warmly welcome to reach out with their ideas.

We can’t wait to see everyone there!
