St. John Catholic Academy’s Extended Day Program is designed for school aged students
(Kindergarten through 8th grade) who are enrolled in St. John Catholic Academy. Families will be charged Extended Care fees monthly in FACTS based on actual program usage. Extended Care (including morning care) costs $6 per hour or any part of an hour. Families will be charged in arrears, monthly through FACTS. Families behind on tuition payments or Extended Care payments will not be permitted to use Extended Care until their financial account is in good standing.
We are pleased to be able to offer Extended Care as a service to our SJCA families this year. Please remember that participation requires a partnership and commitment to mutual support and respect when the need arises to address concerning and/or problematic behaviors on the part of any student. We are committed to early intervention and helping all students be successful and look forward to working together through any challenges that may arise. Administration reserves the right to suspend participation.
School gates are open from 7:40am–7:50am and 2:50pm–3:00pm daily,
12:00-12:15 on early release afternoons
Parents must pre-register students for Extended Care on Early Release Days
Morning Care:
• Hours: 7:30am- 7:40am
• Cost: $6 per morning per student
• Drop off Location: Preschool Carline
• Sign in: Staff will sign your child in upon their entry
Afternoon Care:
• Hours: 3:00pm – 5:30pm, on early release days 12:15pm- 5:30pm (Must pre-register for Early Release
days)
• Cost: $6 per hour or any part of an hour
• Location: Varies depending on the weather and time of day. Students will be given an opportunity to eat a
self-provided afternoon snack and complete homework depending on how long they are in afternoon
care. Afternoon care frequently moves from location to location to include (but not limited to) parish
hall, playground and media center. Students will stay in their cohorts, if at all possible.
• Sign In/Sign Out: Staff will sign in registered extended care students who have not been picked up by
3:00pm and will sign parents up based on the time the student exits the building. Parents should pick up in
the preschool carline.
