Happy New Year! We hope that everyone had a safe and fun Christmas Holiday
SAFETY PROCEDURE REMINDER from the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee
All parents and visitors who enter the school campus, must bring their driver’s license to be scanned into our new “RAPTOR” security screener.
The Raptor will print out a visitor name tag which should be added to a visitor lanyard.
The should be returned as you exit the campus.
Thank you for helping us keep our campus safe and secure for the children.
UNIFORMS
A “uniform exchange” will be held at our next PTO meeting on January 9th at 3:00 in the Library. Bring the uniforms that your children have outgrown and exchange it for a larger size. The exchange is free.
All uniforms and shoes must be in compliance with those listed on the website.
FAMILIAR FACES IN NEW PLACES
Recognizing the gifts and talents of our staff, we are proud to announce that “Miss Nicole”, who has degrees in both technology and architecture, will be changing her position from the school office to that of our school Technology Support person. She will also be helping out in Aftercare a few days a week.
“Miss Kayla” who served after school as our Aftercare Director will be the new School Office Administrative Assistant during the day. She is currently studying Psychology at Gulf Coast College.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TO HELP WITH READING FLUENCY
Our teachers would like a few volunteers to monitor the reading progress of our elementary students using a 3 minute read aloud test that assesses the number of words read per minute of a short story or passage. The time commitment is one morning a week.
Volunteers must be finger-printed and pass Diocesan Safe Environment screening.
The volunteers will be trained.
