Volunteer Clearance Steps at St. John Catholic Academy

In cooperation with the Safe Environment requirements of the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee, the mandatory process for volunteers while school is in session includes the following steps:

  1. Contact the school office and let them know that you are wanting to be a school volunteer. You will be directed to log into the VIRTUS Online prior to completing the fingerprinting process. You will be given a code during your registration process, if you misplace the code, please give us a call. Please note that fingerprints are valid for 5 years.

Cost of fingerprinting is the responsibility of the parent/guardian and must be paid in the school office via cash or check prior to scheduling your fingerprinting appointment:

    • Elementary/Middle School Only: Payment via cash or check of $65
    • Preschool requires a second set of fingerprinting for DCF compliance. The total fee for both sets of prints is $130.75
