OPEN HOUSE
The teachers and students have been working to showcase their work at this year’s Classroom Open House, which will be held on Wednesday, September 20th 4:30-6:30. Now that school has been in session for six weeks, the Classroom Open House provides another opportunity to learn more about academic goals and curriculum expectations for the year. It’s a great time to ask questions now that we are in the swing of the new school year. Information about Instructional materials for academics and religion, grading, classroom routines and our new Eagle Expectations will be shared. Teachers will have a sign-up sheet for individual parents conferences – which will be scheduled on a different day at your convenience. Please stop by to visit the classrooms at your leisure, visit the Book Fair, and join us in the Parish Hall at 6:15 to learn about robotics, after school sports and other enrichment opportunities.
PTO
Volunteer sign-up sheets for upcoming PTO events such as our Trunk or Treat Fall Festival and Chili-Cook Off will also be available. These special PTO events are a wonderful way for busy families to support our school, meet other families and complete your volunteer hours.

We are looking for new members with a background in organizational management, facilities and finance. We will meet approximately once a month for an hour and a half. If you are interested in helping with these important advisory committees, please e-mail me at vicki.parks@sjseagles.org. We will also have applications available at Open House at the Volunteer table.
Virtues in Practice : CHARITY
