BLESSING OF THE PETS – OCTOBER 4th
St. John School families and parishoners are invited to celebrate The Feast of St. Francis with a blessing of the pets Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 3:00 p.m.
Please meet at the flag pole following parent pick-up.
Animals must be on leashes or in crates. Owners must be in possession of their pets at all times and should clean up after them. Pets and their owners should plan to enter and exit at the school gate by the school office. Pets should not be brought inside any classrooms or venture to any other part of the school.
FIRST PTO MEETING AND NEW FAMILY WELCOME, OCTOBER 5TH
Join us for the September PTO Meeting this Thursday, October 5th from 5:30-7:00. Child care and a movie will be available for students in the Technology Lab. Pizza is available for those that pre-order. Please call the school office to order the pizza by Tuesday, October 3rd.
Miss Alison willl share information about Friendship, our virtue for October, and provide some ideas for implementing this virtue in different settings.

PARENT CONFERENCES BEGIN, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6th
Parent Conferences will begin this Friday afternoon. Some teachers may have aread begun, and others will be scheduling them the following week. The results of our reading and math “MAPS” testing will be discussed.
